JAMB eFacility Portal: Functions of Every Button, Payment Requirements & How to Use (2026 Guide)
The JAMB eFacility portal (efacility.jamb.gov.ng) is the official platform for all JAMB services. This guide explains every major button, whether it requires payment, how payments are made, and what you can do yourself versus what must be done at an accredited CBT centre.
Free Services (No Payment Required)
- Check UTME Result – Free. Available once results are released.
- Admission Status – Free. Check if any school has offered you admission via CAPS.
- Print Examination Slip – Free (for main and mop-up exams).
- Download JAMB Syllabus & Brochure – Completely free.
Services That Require Payment
- Print Original Result Slip – ₦1,500. This is the official slip with your national ranking required for Post-UTME and admission processing.
- Change of Course/Institution – Usually ₦2,500 – ₦3,500.
- Correction of Data (Name, Date of Birth, etc.) – Fee applies (varies by correction type).
How to Make Payments on JAMB Portal
All payments are made through Remita. After selecting the service:
- Click on “Pay” or “Make Payment”
- Choose your preferred payment method (Card, Bank Branch, Internet Banking, or USSD)
- Generate Remita Reference Number (RRR)
- Complete payment and return to the portal to confirm

- Accept or reject admission offer
